DETROIT, Aug. 6, 2024 ~ On Tuesday morning, multiple news outlets reported that Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, according to sources behind the scenes.
The Harris-Walz ticket will make campaign stops across key states, including a stop on Wednesday, Aug. 7 in Detroit. Her pick came weeks after speculation on who she would choose, with other top contenders including Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly.
