Walz, Bill Clinton, and Winfrey Address the DNC

CHICAGO, Aug. 22, 2024 ~ Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz, former President Bill Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey all gave speeches during the third day of the Democratic National Convention.

Clinton and Winfrey emphasized that the Democrats will bring “joy” to governing as opposed to the leadership of former President Donald Trump. Walz used the word freedom about a dozen times in his speech, saying that Republicans want to take away personal freedoms from U.S. residents in terms of healthcare, schooling, and workers’ rights.
