WAYNE COUNTY, Oct. 3, 2024 ~ A cyberattack has shut down several government services in Wayne County, Andy Arena of the Detroit Crime Commission told WJR.
The attack occurred Wednesday and appears to be a case of ransomware, with the FBI and Michigan State Police investigating the incident. Services related to taxes, inmate bonds, and real estate sales were affected by the cyberattack.
