SOUTHFIELD, MI, Oct. 15, 2024 ~ U.S. Senate candidates Elissa Slotkin and Mike Rogers sparred for the final time before the November election, focusing on electric vehicles, abortion, and the economy.
The second debate between the candidates on Monday in the WXYZ TV studio, weeks ahead of the election on Nov. 5. Jason Roe, principal of Roe Strategic and helped run a campaign against Slotkin in 2018, said the debate was substantive and that each candidate had a chance to shine.
