EAST LANSING, November 1, 2024 ~ Michigan State football (4-4) will welcome the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers to East Lansing this Saturday after a tough loss on the road last week to rival Michigan.
Redshirt junior running back Nate Carter had his best game of his season against the Wolverines, tallying 118 rush yards and a touchdown. Sophomore quarterback Aidan Chiles also had a relatively clean game for the Spartans, only fumbling the ball once to go with 189 passing yards and a passing touchdown. MSU will have to continue to marry the run and the pass game together in order to get back to a winning record.

(CONTINUED) Despite the loss, the green and white defense has given opponents fits this season. After giving up less than 300 yards of total offense last Saturday for the fifth time this season, the unit jumped to rank 23rd in the FBS in total defense.
Losing their previous two ranked games to Ohio State and Oregon, this time around Indiana will come to Spartan Stadium with a perfect 8-0 record. Although they are unbeaten, their competition level has been much lighter than most Big Ten opponents.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. Stay tuned for coverage on WJR.com starting at 12:30 p.m.
