DETROIT, Nov. 8, 2024 ~Hundreds of business and community leaders to much down flapjacks at the 25th annual Parade Company Pancake Breakfast.
The event took place at the nonprofit’s studio in Detroit to start the America’s Thanksgiving Parade 2024 season. Notable guests included U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell (MI-6), Gardner White President Rachel Stewart, and Blue Cross Blue Shield CEO Daniel J. Loepp. Blue Cross Blue Shield revealed a massive new float that will make its debut on Woodward Avenue this Thanksgiving.
The event was also broadcast live by WJR’s “‘JR Morning With Guy Gordon, Lloyd Jackson, and Jamie Emdonds.“
“It’s incredible what people feel about the parade in Detroit,” said Parade Company President and CEO Tony Michael. “We pulled off the virtual parade with WDIV during COVID, and (in) the letters and notes, people said, ‘You made our day, you made our month, you made our holiday because you found a way to bring it to us.’“
