DETROIT, November 17, 2024 ~ The Detroit Lions did not allow a single touchdown in a blowout win against the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon at Ford Field. Both sides of the ball pulled their weight though, as the offense tied their season high in points in the 52-6 victory.

Historical numbers can be found all over the scoreboard from today’s game, highlighted by the offensive unit. Quarterback Jared Goff produced four passing touchdowns and 412 passing yards with only five incompletions against the two-win Jaguars.

His 24/29 performance marks him as the first quarterback in NFL history to finish five games with a completion percentage above 80. The three receivers to get in on the action were Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Brock Wright. St. Brown recorded two scores while Williams broke a touchdown off for 64 yards.

Goff’s accolades matched the significance of the win for the organization, who has won eight straight games for the first time in 90 years.
