INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Nov. 24, 2024 ~ In a commanding performance, the Detroit Lions secured a decisive 24-6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, improving their record to 10-1. The Lions showcased their offensive prowess, scoring two touchdowns in the second quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. Despite a slow start, Detroit’s ability to adapt and execute their game plan was evident, as they outgained the Colts in total yards, 390 to 268, and dominated time of possession, holding the ball for over 37 minutes.
The first quarter saw the Colts take an early lead with a 27-yard field goal from Matt Gay, but the Lions quickly responded. Jahmyr Gibbs punched in a one-yard touchdown run, followed by a six-yard touchdown from David Montgomery, giving Detroit a 14-6 lead by halftime. Gibbs continued to shine, adding another touchdown in the third quarter, while the Lions’ defense stifled the Colts, limiting them to just two field goals and no touchdowns throughout the game.

In contrast, Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson struggled, completing only 11 of 28 passes for 172 yards, and the Colts’ rushing game was held to just 96 yards.
