DETROIT, Dec. 9, 2024 ~ As the automotive industry navigates the complexities of electric vehicle (EV) transitions and market fluctuations, the MICHauto Summit 2024 promises to be a pivotal event. Scheduled for Tuesday, December 9 at The Detroit Regional Chamber, this summit will gather industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the current state and future of Michigan’s automotive sector.

In a recent interview on 760 WJR‘s “‘JR Morning,” Glenn Stevens, executive director of MICHauto and VP of automotive and mobility initiatives for the Detroit Regional Chamber, highlighted the significance of this year’s summit. “We’re going to release the data on the economic contribution of the industry to the economy in Michigan, and it is growing. There are challenges, but we are growing,” Stevens noted, emphasizing the dual nature of the industry’s progress and hurdles.
