DETROIT, Jan. 27, 2025 ~ After 21 years, WJR host Paul W. Smith is passing his annual charitable golf outing to fellow WJR host and Detroit Lions legend Lomas Brown.
The Lomas Brown Golf Classic, formerly the Paul W. Smith Golf Classic, will take place July 7 at the Country Club of Detroit, starting a new era for the event that raises money for charities benefiting local area children. Charities that will benefit from the 2025 event include the Children’s Foundation and the Lomas Brown Jr. Foundation.
