DETROIT, Feb. 16, 2025 ~ Detroit Pistons’ point guard Cade Cunningham made his NBA All-Star Game debut Sunday night in San Francisco. Cunningham finished with five points, an assist, and a rebound in the 41-32 opening round loss for Kenny’s Young Stars against Chuck’s Global Stars

Checking in after the first TV timeout, Cunningham knocked down a 3-pointer and found fellow 2021 draft pick Evan Mobley for an alley-oop dunk. He played a total of five minutes in the game.

Cunningham threw down an impressive one-handed jam for two of his five points in the first game of the night.

Cunningham is the first Pistons player since Blake Griffin in 2019 to earn an All-Star nod. He is the first Detroit draft pick to be selected since Andre Drummond in 2018 and first guard to be picked since Allen Iverson in 2009.

Cunningham was joined on the team by Michigan State Spartan Jaren Jackson Jr. The big man made his second All-Star Game appearance with the Young Stars.

The Pistons will kick the regular season back into gear on Friday, Feb. 21 in San Antonio
