Lions Reveal New Coaching Staff, New Hires

DETROIT, Feb. 20, 2025 ~ The Detroit Lions announced several new hires and promotions in its coaching staff this week, filling many vacant positions post-season.

Coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn left the team following its defeat in the divisional round in January. Some of the new hires include Stanford‘s David Shaw as pass game coordinator, BuccaneersKacy Rodgers as defensive line coach/run game coordinator, BroncosJohn Morton as offensive coordinator, and UFL‘s Bruce Gradkowski as offensive assistant.
