ANN ARBOR, March 18, 2025 ~ A University of Michigan provost was once again a target of vandalism after pro-Palestine activists sent a message at their home Sunday morning.

Ann Arbor police responded to the house of U-M Provost Laurie McCauley after it was discovered there was a broken window and the phrases “Free Palestine,” “Divest,” and “No Honor in Genocide” spray-painted onto the house. This is the latest incident targeting the residences and businesses of university officials by pro-Palestinian activists, who have been calling on the university to divest university funds from Israel amid the country’s brutal assault on Gaza that has killed over 48,000 people, a majority of them women and children.
