State Scholarships Have Not Effected Michigan College Enrollment

March 20, 2025 ~ College enrollment rates in Michigan have significantly decreased, despite substantial scholarship investments. Before the pandemic, around 62% of the 2019 graduating class attended college within six months, with only 53.4% of the class of 2024 enrolling into college. Bridge Michigan education reporter Isabel Lohman talks with Guy Gordon and Lloyd Jackson about the growing perception that college is not worth the cost.
