MICHIGAN, March 20, 2025 ~ Funds from the WJR‘s last SAY Detroit Radiothon were distributed to local charities on Thursday.
The distributions were shared at the Say Detroit Play Center in Detroit, with some of the charities including the DRE Project, Avalon Village, and The College for Creative Studies. The funds distributed came from the pool of $2,064,014 raised at the 2024 radiothon.
SAY Detroit distributes a percentage of radiothon donations annually to partner organizations and charities that help the Detroit community. Held last December at the Somerset Collection in Troy, the 13th edition of the radiothon brought the total funds raised throughout its lifetime to over $16.5 million.
