Detroit City FC Seeks to Raise $10 Million for New Stadium

DETROIT, March 24, 2025 ~ The Detroit City Football Club is currently looking to raise an additional $10 million from investors to fund its new stadium in Corktown, Crain’s Detroit Business reported late last week.

It’s part of the plan to raise the money to build this new stadium as they look to graduate to bigger and better environs than the Hamtramck Stadium where they currently pay just a dollar a year in rent,” Crain’s Detroit Business managing editor Mike Lee. “So it will be a big change. Their timeline is very tight for getting this done when they want it done by.
