MICHIGAN, April 1, 2025 ~ Michigan education officials are saying state public school districts will face a $42 million funding shortfall after a deadline for federal fund spending was shortened to last Friday.
The funds were related to relief money stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, with many projects funded by this money already approved.
