WASHINGTON D.C., April 29, 2025 ~ U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar (MI-13) filed seven articles of impeachment Monday in an attempt to oust President Donald Trump.
The articles of impeachment cite the deportation of legal resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia to an El Salvador megaprison (which the Trump administration has admitted was a mistake), cutting government agencies without Congressional approval, and his sweeping tariffs as reasons for removal. However, these articles are unlikely to go any further in the Republican-controlled House.
