A man cutting the grass at a house in northwest Detroit was shot. The suspect simply walked up to the man who was mowing the lawn on Pontchatrain, and shot him once and walked away. Commander Jeff Giawladneo said the victim drove himself to the 12th precinct on 7 mile and Woodward. The victim, Veezo Easly, was shot once in the side and is expected to be ok. The shooter is at large.
