Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, Wayne State University Police Chief Anthony Holt and Detroit Police Chief James Craig says all charges against DeAngelo Davis, 31, have been dropped in the murder case of Sgt. Collin Rose. Rose was shot in late November while investing a string of burglaries in a neighborhood near the school. He died a day later. Davis was taken into custody and charged. But after new evidence was discovered, Prosecutor Worthy said, “Prosecutors and the police have determined that DeAngelo Davis is not a suspect in the death of Sgt. Collin Rose. Mr. Davis will have all charges dismissed against him.” Now, police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect in the Rose case. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Detroit Field Division and the Detroit Dog Rescue are offering up a $15,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
