Ann Arbor Couple Killed In I-96 Wreck

An Ann Arbor couple was among the three people killed in the massive crash on I-96 near Fowlerville in a snow squall that iced up the road.

Livingston County authorities identify them as 69-year-old Homer Tew and his 62-year-old wife, Theresa. Police say their car was located towards the front the wreck. The third person killed was a 28-year-old man from Hollywood, Florida. His family is being notified.

Eleven other people were injured. Some of them had to be extricated from the wreckage. They were taken to area hospitals for treatment, and are expected to make a full recovery.
