Warren city officials are considering a road construction project which would close Mound Road between I-696 and Hall Road for almost two years.
County and City officials say they like the idea of cleaning up the roadway which is filled with pot holes.
The estimated cost: $150 Million, officials would like the federal government to pick up the tab. The project calls for a reconstruction–not a repaving—of the roadway.
