Someone dropped a gold coin into a Salvation Army red Kettle. Officials say the 1997 Gold Eagle coin was found in the bucket at the Kroger on Middlebelt last week.
It’s valued around $500. This is the second time a gold coin was found in a red kettle in Metro Detroit in a month.
