Police have identified the boy as a 16-year-old from Warren.
The accident happened at around 7 o’clock Tuesday night on Groesbeck Highway near Hayes. Roseville Deputy Police Chief Donald Glandon tells WJR News — the department is still trying to fit all of the puzzle pieces together. Police say the bicyclist was in the left hand turn lane when a driver in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee struck him. The driver of that vehicle stopped, and cooperated with police.
