Judge Bans Trump Ban

U.S. District Judge Victoria Roberts has issued a temporary restraining order — blocking the Trump administration’s temporary ban on immigration and visits from 7 predominantly Muslim countries.

Trump’s executive order affects citizens of: Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. They’re temporarily banned from coming to the United States. Roberts issued a temporary restraining order — pending a full hearing at a later date. The court orders if a person has a legal green card or visa — he or she should be admitted to the United States.

The order was issued on behalf of the Arab American Civil Rights League, which sued.
