Microsoft will move its Michigan Technology Center from Southfield to downtown Detroit early next year.
Microsoft said will take more than 40,000 square feet in the One Campus Martius building, which is owned by a Dan Gilbert company.
It does not say how many employees will be moved to Detroit.
It’s estimated that the move will affect up to 250 employees. Microsoft occupies about 53,000 square feet of space in the Southfield Town Center.
