A man who killed 4 children and tortured his wife pleads guilty to 2nd degree murder. It’s a plea bargain with the Wayne County prosecutor.
Gregory Green pleaded guilty to killing his two young daughters and two step-children at their Dearborn Heights home last fall. Green shot the two step-children, killed his daughters by carbon monoxide poisoning, and shot and slashed his wife. She survived. Green also pleaded to torture. Green faces at least 47 years in prison.
“The plea was given with the express approval of Faith Green, the mother of the children and the father of the two Allen children,” the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said in a written statement.
Green murdered his former wife Tonya Green, who was seven months pregnant. Green stabbed her with a steak knife, killing her and her unborn child.
He pleaded no contest to 2nd degree murder, served 16 years in prison and was paroled in 2008.
