Ann Arbor Police are warning people about an attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl that occurred on the North Campus.
Officials say the man attempted to lure the child into his vehicle in a parking Lot at a graduate student complex. The man was driving a four-door black car and waved the child to the vehicle. She ran away .
The man is described as a white male, between 50 and 60 years-old with gray hair styled “like Albert Einstein.” He was wearing a black leather jacket and sunglasses.
Also in Washtenaw County, police say someone tried to lure an 11 year old boy into a vehicle in Ypsilanti Twp. the boy was offered candy if he would get into a van. The boy ran away.
