Old Hudson site downtown could be home to city’s tallest building.

It’s a tall order.

Detroit Businessman Dan Gilbert is laying out a plan to build what would be Detroit’s tallest building on the Hudson’s site on Woodward.

The building would be a mixed use retail, residential and office. The plan calls for 250 residential units in a 52 story building that would stand 732 feet tall. Gilbert says he expects the project to generate 560 million per year in economic output.
