Outage, Warming Center Update

DTE Energy says the effort to restore power to hundreds of thousands of customers across Metro Detroit is still expected to take several days.

DTE said it expects 90 percent of its customers to have power restored by Sunday. As of 6 a.m. 515,000 outages remained.
Consumers Energy says it has restored power to about two-thirds of those who lost electricity. It’s still got about 100,000 outages.

Many communities have opened warming centers for people who lost power:
