A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for an assistant boys varsity hockey coach at Canton High School.
20 year old Eric Locke is accused of having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 16 year old girl.
Prosecutors say it took place between November of last year and February of this year.
Canton police say they began an investigation after the girls mother went to a police school resource officer.
Locke has been charged with three counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct, charges that could send him to prison for up to 15 years.
School officials released a statement saying that Locke has been permanently removed from the district.
