Romulus police say they are searching for a 5-year-old who was abducted during a home invasion early this morning. It’s a custody kidnapping.
Police say the girl was taken by her non-custodial father around 4:30 a.m.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested for stealing a car with two children inside at a gas station near Flint. The children are safe with their parents.
Tthe 2-year-old girl and her 9-month-old brother were found more than three hours later inside the car in Flint.
Their mother, Kaytlin Fletcher, went in to buy cigarettes from the Admiral Gas Station in Burton. The two children — Arinna and Lincoln — were left in the car.
The car was found with the kids inside safe.
The kids are now with their parents.
