Police are investigating weekend tragedy in a rural part of Washtenaw County. Two half-brothers were killed and three others were seriously injured after being stabbed Saturday morning in a home invasion in York Township.
Family members identified the victims as 12-year-old Timber Brown and 26-year old Johnathan Brown. Timber’s mother, 31-year-old Vicki Moore of Indian River, is in critical condition. The 39-year-old homeowner is in critical condition and another woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Michigan State Police have released few details on the home invasion. The Special Investigation Section of the Michigan State Police, along with the MSP Brighton Post, are investigating the stabbing spree.
