Detroit Water Shutoffs Coming

Water shutoffs have resumed in Detroit. Those behind in their bills may lose their water service.
About 18-thousand customers are at risk of having their water shut off in Detroit. The Detroit Water and Sewer has begun to shut off water for those delinquent customers. The department has been signing people onto a list for a program for them to pay up their bills. Some 18 thousand are at risk of shutoffs. The department says people need to contact them and get a program to pay the bills. Many customers that lose their service have the water turned back on quickly.
