A little Detroit girl is in critical condition after she was injured in a shooting on Detroit’s west side.
The 7-year-old was sleeping inside her family’s home on the 2900 block of Monterey when a gunman opened fire and bullets came shooting through the front window.
The girl was shot in the neck and is at Detroit’s Children’s Hospital.
Police believe the home may have been targeted. The shooter is still at large.
