Detroit Police are looking for a driver who fled after running over a 64-year-old man on a bike.
The incident happened late last night at Van Dyke and Gratiot on Detroit’s east side. The 64-year-old man was riding on his bike with his grandson when he was hit by the car, according to witnesses.
Firefighters put the man on a stretcher as he lay in the middle of the street on Van Dyke. The man is recovering at a hospital.
The car was seen driving north on Van Dyke when it hit the man and continued to I-94.
