Businesswoman and Trump activist Lena Epstein says she will run for the U.S. Senate seat held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow.
Epstein is a resident of Oakland County, has never run for political office, and helps run the family business, Vesco Oil.
Stabenow has been a senator since 2000, and was in the U.S. House before that.
Epstein, 35, got an economics degree from Harvard University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. She was the chair of the successful Trump for President campaign in Michigan.
