UPDATE: Police say a suspect has been arrested in the shooting. The name of the suspect has not been released.
A 17-year-old Detroit boy is dead, police are looking for the shooter after he was killed as the victim and a friend were buying some Air Jordans.
Investigators say the 17-year-old driver and his 21-year-old passenger met a man on social media and agreed to buy a pair of the shoes, when an argument broke out inside the SUV, which was parked on Pinehurst near Fenkell on the west side.
Gunfire rang out.
The teenager was shot and killed, while the 21-year-old was shot in the shoulder. The back seat passenger fled, and now a manhunt is underway for that gunman.
