Bingo Backfires On Dems

Michigan Democrats lose in bingo. The games will cost the party a 500-thousand dollar fine to the Federal Election Commission. Bingo games to raise funds for the party were found to have sloppy record keeping, with players exceeding the campaign contribution limits, and other election violations, when Michigan Democrats were raising bingo money. The bingo ended in 2014. New party leadership at that time began it’s own internal investigation, and went voluntarily to the federal commission.
