Teens Stage Crime Wave, Charged As Adults

It was a 2-man crime spree … and even though they are only 16 years old, they are being charged as adults:
Prosecutors says Laron Walker and Corey Christopher of Detroit are facing a variety of charges that could send them to prison for years.

It started between 4:30 and 5:30 in the morning on May 25th.

They robbed a 25 year old man at gunpoint in front of a CVC pharmacy on West Mcnichols, who was then able to flee.

Shortly thereafter, they robbed a 62 year old man, then pushed him into the pharmacy, where they then robbed four employees and four customers who were in the store.

The first man who had fled after being robbed was able to call police.

When officers arrived, the teens ran to the back of the store while firing several shots at them.

Police returned fire and wounded Walker.

Christopher was then taken into custody in the store.
