A Macomb County woman is due in court today
Elizabeth Johnson has been charged with receiving and concealing stolen property.
The stolen loot came from her 16 year old son.
Police say the son was seen breaking into a man’s parked car in Mount Clemens.
The man yelled at the boy and he jumped into a car and fled the scene.
The man was able to follow them and saw items being thrown from the car.
Police were able to stop the car in Clinton Township.
The boy’s mother had been driving.
Police found items in the car that had been stolen from other vehicles and also discovered other items that had been thrown from the woman’s car prior to it being stopped.
