Police chase ends with 1 dead, 2 in custody

A police chase in Detroit has ended with one person dead and two people in custody. Police Chief James Craig said officers had pulled a vehicle over for speeding. When they approached, police noticed weapons, that’s when the vehicle took off. Officers gave chase but called it off after a few blocks. The suspect vehicle crashed into an abandoned home.

One man died, two others were arrested. The chief says the dead man was the driver, he had released been released from prison and was wearing a tether.
