A mother and her 2 year-old daughter have been shot on Detroit’s northeast side.
It happened near a home on Tacoma near Hayes.
Detroit Police say the child was shot in the neck and her 22-year-old mother was shot in the back. They are in fair condition.
They were in a car that was being driven by the mother’s boyfriend when another car pulled up and started shooting. Police indicate they think this was a targeted shooting. The boyfriend who was driving the car was arrested for other charges.
