America’s mid-section and Motown love their American made cars. The top five American cities that are mostly American-centric when it comes to cars driven are Detroit at almost 70%, number two is Oklahoma City, followed by St. Louis, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. The survey by cargurus.com found the cities that least preferred American-built cars are Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and San Jose. By the way, Metro Detroiters are least likely to drive: Toyotas, Nissans, Hondas, Subarus and Mitsubishi’s – which account for about 15% of the market.
