Pontiac Mom Gambles With Kid’s Safety

She was gambling at a Detroit casino.

Prosecutors say she made a bad bet when it came to caring for her children.
A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for 27 year old Clelie Choute of Pontiac.

She was arrested in the early morning hours of August 19th at the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit.

Police had been called on a report that two children had been left unattended in a car in the casino’s parking structure.

They found a 6 month old girl and a 2 year old boy in the car.

They were removed from the car and released to their father.

The mother was located in the casino and arrested.

She has been charged with two counts of child abuse.
