Detroit Boy Scolded, Shoots Himself

A 13-year-old boy shot himself in the head after his parents reprimanded him at their home in northwest Detroit, according to police.
The shooting happened near Southfield and 8 Mile roads.

Police said the boy angry and shot himself.

Police say the boy is in critical condition.

The boy’s 19-year-old brother was taken into custody because it was his gun used in the shooting. The gun is not registered.
