A 7 hour stand off with a barricaded gun man comes to a peaceful end in Ypsilanti Township. Police received a call at 9:30am from a crisis center saying they heard from a 70 year old veteran who was contemplating suicide. Police sent out a Nixle alert asking neighbors to stay in their homes and blocked off streets in the area. The man has been taken to the hospital.
