A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for a former kennel owner who has been charged with animal neglect.
74year old Mary Gabriel had run a kennel in Farmington Hills.
The kennel has now been closed and she has moved to Rose Township.
She says the 49 dogs she had in July are now in good hands.
Pam Sordyl is the founder of an animal welfare group.
She wants to know where the dogs are.
Sordyl says she has been monitoring Gabriel’s clinics for year after years of reported violations in the treatment of the animals.
She says she is concerned Gabriel will continue hoarding and mistreating animals.
