Hines Park Attacker Gets Plea Deal

The Berkley man named as a person of interest in the disappearance of a Farmington Hills woman has accepted a plea deal with the Wayne County prosecutor in the attack on a female jogger in Hines Park.
Floyd Galloway pleads guilty to criminal sexual conduct, felony assault, and kidnapping, while a charge of attempted murder is dropped. Galloway faces a possible sentence of 16 to 35 years in prison.
Galloway was arrested for the assault on the jogger in September of last year on a jogging trail at Hines Park in Livonia. Galloway grabbed the woman from behind on the jogging path, dragged her into the woods, and told he wanted sex. The woman fought, she got away after pleading for her life. She flagged down a motorist and called police.
Galloway is not charged in the disappearance of Danielle Stislicki last December. Stislicki and Galloway worked in the same building in Southfield. Police have said they believe Stislicki was murdered.
