Detroit Police say a gunman killed a woman and then turned the gun on himself at a 3 family flat on Detroit’s west side.
The gunman broke into the home where his ex-girlfriend was staying with a friend. Police say the man shot and wounded the ex-girlfriend. She escaped along with an 11 year old girl. The girl was not injured.
The man saw the friend. She was shot and killed. The man killed himself.
Another baby in the house was unharmed.
Police say the man had a long criminal record. The ex-girlfriend had a personal protection order against the man.
